All the staff that we encountered were friendly.The entrance to the rooms is via a tricky spiral staircase which I'm not sure was mentioned and would not work for the disabled.The balcony at the top of the staircase was open to the public which meant in room 3 they could see in and we couldn't open a window due to them smoking.Room 3 was a good size but had a smoky smell and although the bathroom was partitioned off it was open.Room 1 was a lot smaller and the bathroom had cobwebs in the corners.The lack of on site parking and not even anywhere to park for a few minutes to load or unload was irritating.Breakfast is not included and not available on site.The 2 coffee shops nearby supplied Breakfast.Great location however for the town, very easy walking distance to the cathedral etc. - Annette Edwards
Perfect location, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the room was perfect/clean and we could leave our bags pre check-in which was so helpful for our short trip to Wells - thank you so much- S
Room was quite large, well equipped, lovely and clean. The bathroom looked new and was clean but lacked somewhere to hang towels and put toiletries in shower.- Linda W
